A morning run in Eugene

Pre's Rock

This trip would not have been complete without a visit to Pre's Rock the site where Steve Prefontaine died in 1975. The setting was on the side of Hendrick's Park on a small winding road. People have left medals, running magazines, live strong wristband, and even a football helmet.

A visit to the official Nike store

We toured the official Nike store in Eugene. When you walk in there's a history wall with three different projectors casing one image on the wall telling the story of Phil Knight, the founder of Nike, and Steve Prefontaine. Another high-light for Josh on our visit to the University of Oregon.

The new Lillis Business Complex is an amazing work or art and an incredible blending of a new building right next to one of the oldest on campus.

Josh was so excited that the field was "open to the public" that he took the camera and ran around the track.

Fall in Eugene

The number of trees and the fall colors in Eugene are absolutely amazing in October! There were countless trees with vibrant yellows, orange, and red leaves.
